  • Traditional Dances: Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz and Viennese Waltz

  • Rhythm Dances: Cha-Cha, Mambo, Rumba, Samba and Swing

  • Club Dances: Argentine Tango, Merengue and Salsa

How much do lessons cost?

Our lessons range in cost from $7.00 walk-in classes to $85.00/hour private instruction. We also offer special pricing for new students, teen and college students, and weddings.

What is the proper attire/footwear?

Most of the time, business casual is appropriate. Shoes should be comfortable, flexible and with soles that are not too slippery, but will allow you to turn easily.

How long will it take to learn?

This is different for each person. If you have a hard deadline – like being able to dance at a special function – we will work within your timeline to prepare you for your event. Otherwise, how much and how quickly you learn will depend on your natural ability, the time you have to devote to practice and your own personal goals. Much like learning a foreign language – you can learn “just enough” for a specific purpose or you can strive to master lifelong fluency.

What age-range do you teach?

We have students ranging from ten years of age to 92 years young and everything in between. All are welcome!

Do you train students for dance competitions?

As a Social Ballroom Studio we do not focus on competition dancing. Our environment is geared toward providing a fun, relaxed atmosphere to learn and experience the joys of social dancing. We can take you from beginning to advanced levels in all the dances we teach. If you are goal-oriented, we offer a multi-level achievement program with opportunities to perform free-style exams in front of an audience and guest judge twice per year. If you love performing, we would encourage you to participate in our in-house Spotlight Events. If either of these programs interests you, give us a call 702-323-8304 or stop by for more information.
